It’s official, Justin Tafa will make his highly anticipated return to the octagon at UFC 312 in Sydney this February. Originally slated to face the African Savage Kennedy Nzechukwu in Abu Dhabi this past October, Tafa’s rebooking is sure to excite fans packing the Qudos Bank Arena for the UFC’s seventh visit to New South Wales.

Tafa, celebrated for his knockout power, now faces a tough test in undefeated Brazilian prospect Tallison Teixeira, who earned his UFC contract in September with a dominant TKO victory over Arthur Lopes on Dana White's Contender Series. Standing at 6’7” with a staggering 23cm reach advantage, Teixeira presents a formidable physical challenge for the 6’0” Tafa. However, Tafa’s heavy hands and aggressive style promise to deliver a fight that will have the crowd on their feet, win or lose.

This bout, expected to be a stand-and-bang spectacle, adds even more firepower to a card already stacked with two championship fights. Fans are buzzing over the headlining rematch Du Plessis vs. Strickland 2 and the co-main event Zhang vs. Suarez, and Tafa’s presence bolsters an impressive lineup of Australian talent. Joining him are fellow locals Stewart Nicoll, Jimmy Crute, and rising star Quillan Salkilld, with more names just around the corner.

With an electric atmosphere already guaranteed and a lineup starting to overflow with fan favourites, UFC 312 is shaping up to be an unmissable event.
